I have tried saw palmetto before in a lower dose version. This stuff seems very high-quality. Plus it actually smells good in the bottle (helps to motivate me when taking it). My prostate is responding noticeably in all respects. The other versions didn't really help unless I also took stinging nettle root extract. I had side effects with the nettle root; it increased my testosterone but gave me intense testicular pain! If this lowers my PSA on my next blood work I will do a second review. Oh, and no pain with the saw palmetto. Pharmaceutical companies are turning baby boomers into guinea pigs and gouging us. I don't know what the perfect herbal blend is, but this is a good start.

I haven't been using these long enough to tell if they are working better than what I used to take. I can report that these definitely have an odor, and a taste; I don't care for it, but it's not so off-putting that I won't take them. It's sort of a *very* earthy herbal taste/smell. I'll most likely update this review later to include its efficacy.

I like this brand because of it's strength and because it's a pure product. No additives or fillers. I'm a 63 year old lady, post menopausal. I take this daily to help balance my remaining hormones.

I have bought this brand a few times, but this last time the pills unfortunately smelled lightly of rancid oil. I’ve still been taking them, but not sure if I’ll purchase these again after this experience.

I got tired of waking up 2-3 times a night to pee. Within a couple of weeks of using Saw Palmetto I was sleeping through the night, getting up once in a while. It may not work for everyone and my doctor says it it a temporary solution, but it's better than being on meds! I've had 6 months of blissful sleep thanks to this product. Plus you only have to take this brand once a day.
