8 x Large Rubber Feet - Flight Cases, Speaker Cabinets, Rack Cabinets

Replaced worn and missing feet on my Tannoy t40's, do exactly what they say on the tin!! Great product, will get more.

The feet are made from a semi-rigid moulded material.They are not solid and therefore I'd consider it important to ensure that the whole foot is in contact with the supported surface; if that wasn't the case and you had bits of the foot sticking out at the sides then the load would tend to apply uneven stress to the sides of the foot and, also, dust and water could collect inside the foot.The load is transferred only down the outer walls, and not via the central portion because this central portion does not make contact with the underside of the cabinet. The side-view picture is intended to illustrate this point.I've attached some pictures to show the shape of the foot.The dimensions of the feet I received are:(*) The diameter at the upper contact surface is 38 mm.(*) The diameter of the widest floor contact ring is 30 mm.(*) The screw hole is 5 mm diameter.(*) The maximum screw head diameter that would fit, would be 10.5 mm.(*) Height 15.7 mm.(*) Wall thickness is about 3 mm.The internal washer is sufficiently recessed such that the head of a #8 or #10 wood screw, or an M4 pan head screw will also be recessed by a couple of millimetres.I haven't formally load tested them, but my guess is that they will be reliable with up to a few kilograms per foot, so with four feet I'd be happy to mount equipment weighing up to 20kg, perhaps a bit more. If I wanted to apply a greater load than that I'd probably choose a different foot or try filling the hollow portions of these with some sort of resin or silicone.
