This is a must have product for drying flowers. It's a great at drying out flowers for long term storage. This product is easy to use.

review for: 1000g(2.2LBS) Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals, Silicate Desiccant for Drying Flowers, Reusable Flower Preservative, Color Display Fine Crystals Desiccant (S-2.2lb)1000g(2.2LBS)I ordered this desiccant so i can create art with natural items such as leaves and other plants and such, but i failed to actually find anything to dry nor find a place to process said articles as the cons to this stuff is that it is lightweight and fine particles which are not good to have around any unintentionally uncoordinated or rushed people because dropping the box or knocking the box off the table would be horrific to clean up. The fact that the stuff is non-toxic is the only reason i thought i might be able to survive an accident.The "specs" have all the right things: reusable, moisture indicators, and lightweight particles so as to not damage the items.

It's perfect for drying flowers. I like how it's color changing when it's time to get new stuff.

Works perfect for our needs.I placed the whole bag into a fair sized stainless steel pan that has a silicone sealed lid. We use it to dry down electronics mostly and when it gets too "damp", we simply slide the whole pan into one of our treatment ovens and dry it down at 250 degrees. Actually, we turn off an oven before closing time and when the oven has cooled down some we add the pan and let it sit overnight, less the lid of course, and in the morning we seal it back up. Ready to go again.Highly Recommended.

I use this to dry flowers. I took a large container that had a fitted lid, poured about .5" inch of this silica ge and covered the bottom, placed the blooms face down nestled into the gel/crystals, and covered completely with more crystals. I covered the container with the lid and placed in it a cool, dark room for a week. After a week, the flowers were perfectly dry but still as vivid as the day I picked them. I did read the instructions to see how to recharge the crystals properly using an oven but didn't see any specific instructions included. I'm deducting a star because I think that's a really important part of this product.
