Actually better than originals
I’ve been using the original loops for a few years now, but one of the ear tips tore and I needed a new pair. I saw that they came out with the loop 2, and I was skeptical that that meant they were just cheaper. But they’re actually better. They never get loose or fall out when I sleep, while my old ones did sometimes. I could probably do with a size even smaller than the XS tips (with the old loops too) but I can’t seem to find any on the market that are smaller than these but still do the job. They offer a lot of background sound reduction, but I can still easily hear my alarm, so they’re perfect for sleeping. Pair them with a white noise machine for even better results. These will not silence stuff, they just muffle, so if you have a snoring partner, these may not be enough for you. Sometimes I wear them when my misophonia is triggered and I like that I can still talk to people and hear most things, it just all becomes less intrusive. And they have a better, fitted carrying case which the older loops did not have.

Very comfortable!
I purchased these for reffing volleyball. I have been wearing regular foam ear plugs for many years to drown out the noises of whistles for hours at a time and they were always very uncomfortable because I have smaller ear canals. These loop earplugs stay in for 8+ hours and have no pain, are easy to put on and take off (unlike the regular foam ones). They are very easy to clean and seem to be pretty durable. I like how it comes with a carrying case so I don't lose them as well as different size ear pieces so I can pick the one that fits me best. They're also very low profile and dont stick out so many people won't even know you're wearing them. I even wear them at the office too. If you're on the fence, just get them it's 100% worth it!

Comfortable & unnecessarily expensive
These work. The XS tips actually fit my tiny ear canals, they’re comfortable for side-sleeping (for the most part), block out most of my partner’s snoring, and are easier to clean than those with a hole in the middle, which is all I could really ask for. That said, I did try a whole bunch of similar earplugs on the market before caving and purchasing Loops, as I was really put off by the high price tag. I’m keeping them because they do their job better than any other earplugs I’ve found. I’d love it if there was a slightly smaller XXS tip, as my right ear seems to be a tad smaller than my left so it starts aching after a few hours of sleep. If price wasn’t a factor, I would rate these five stars and chock the sizing up to a personal problem, because they do their jobs as advertised. They’re not going to completely get rid of certain noises, but with the right fit, everything will sound much more muted. They also feel secure once twisted into place and don’t fall out in the middle of the night. I did end up getting a tether so I don’t end up losing them. It decreases the comfort a little, but it’s better than waking up in the morning not knowing where they went, in the event of them actually slipping out in the middle of the night.I do recommend these, especially if you have smaller ears, as I haven’t found anything smaller on Amazon, and proper fit is ultimately going to determine how well they block out sound. They’re cute, comfortable, secure, and easy to use & clean.

Best I've Tried So Far
4.5 Stars. Rounded up because I'm feeling appreciative.Noise Reduction: These are pretty great. They really do block a good amount of sound, more than I was expecting for their DB rating. As someone who is pretty constantly struggling to manage with the sounds around me, I can't complain about that. However, they do block a little too much sound for conversation. I can wing it at the grocery store but with work, dates, etc... if someone doesn't enunciate very clearly or has a quiet voice, I can get words mixed up with these in. If you're looking for noise reduction comparable to your ANC headphones, or foam plugs, or whatever... no, it's about 50 or 60% of that.Design: I have a slight to moderate deficit in fine motor skills. I really appreciate the design. It is very easy to change the tips, which I have struggled with on every other pair that I've tried. The tips sort of just clip on and pull off easily, you don't have to try to fit them together like a 3d puzzle as other brands require you to do. Lol. The case have a deep groove where you put your fingers to open it which aids in that. I personally don't have a problem fitting the plugs into their individual slots, the case sort of "grabs" them if you push them in close enough. If you have poor fine motor skills, this part of the design could be problematic.Comfort: They are fine. I doubt anything I put in my ears would feel "comfortable" to me. But I can tolerate these for a few hours at a time, which is more than most.Lastly, I just sort of think these look cool. They look like jewelry in my ears rather than some bulky, ugly thing. I ordered the mint color which is as beautiful as advertised.

They do what they advertise
It's not common for me to rate a product five stars, but these ear plugs deserve this rating in my opinion and experience. Keep in mind, this is my personal and subjective review with this product.First off, of the three separate products I've ordered in this category, these are the only ones to give an honest SNR of -24dB. An SNR is slightly higher than an NRR, so if these were rated with an NRR, it might be -22dB. The foam ear plugs I use have an NRR of -32dB, or an SNR of about -34dB. They're very effective at cutting down the noise, so I'll use the foam ear plugs as an anchoring point. The Loop Quiet 2 ear plugs are almost as quiet as the foam ear plugs, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're closer to an SNR of -28dB or even -30dB. They block sound quite effectively when inserted correctly. For those who say they block no sound, I suspect they are using the wrong tips, or are not inserting correctly. (Or it's possible the ear plugs don't fit the same for them as they do with me.)I've worn these all night, for the last couple of nights, and they stay in snug, are comfortable, and do indeed block noise. I have noisy upstairs neighbours who have as much respect for others as the average sociopath, so these were a much welcomed addition to my sleep regime. They're quiet enough to significantly block out noise, but I can still hear my alarm clock with them in, provided the volume is up quite high. There are also products to help wake up without sound, but those are for other reviews. All in all, these deserve the five star rating for honest advertising, and for being effective and comfortable.

My fiancee loved it
She is autistic and using these in sleep, says it reduces most of the noise and is making sleep easier.

Good Purchase
The product is OK. Basically it will not stop the big sounds but will stop the noise around you. Recommended
