CaseBot Slimshell Case for All-New Kindle Oasis (10th Gen, 2019 Release & 9th Gen, 2017 Release) (Y-Denim Sea Green)

Easy to fit my Oasis into frame and with the denim fabric my fingers/hand don't slip nor would it readily slip from lap. The front is lightly padded just enough for comfort and it holds really well when closed. It has an inner surface that closes on the face of the Oasis that is remarkably smooth and non-slip, so whether one holds the cover folded back with finger inbetween the two surfaces or with the front folded completely to the rear, the grip is soft, non-slip, and still comfortable. The fabrics on the outer and inner front surfaces are machine stitched rather than glued. Well made and reasonable priced.

Ordered the green. It's not as vibrant in person as in the photos. I was hoping it would stand out a bit more so I would have a smaller tendency to leave it in airplane seats.The screen flap is also very flimsy and offers minimal protection. it will protect from scrapes and scratches, but I doubt will will protect from blunt force much better than no case at all. I suppose that's where paying more could end up saving you more in the long run.

While the price is right, the quality matches. The fabric cover on the front is bound/finished with some sort of vinyl dip coating, which comes off very easily. A few weeks of light use on vacation resulted in the edging peeling off the corners, and the underlying fabric beginning to fray. I'll patch it with superglue, but I wouldn't purchase this particular fabric-based cover style again without some changes.

This is a perfect fit for the Oasis. What I like is that it is covered with a quality material, not a simple plastic as my previous Kindle had. It is also padded, making it comfortable to hold.The only thing I changed was to give it a quick spray of fabric protectant, to avoid stains.

I love the fit in my hand. The cover has a nice texture and I love the color. I would purchase another when this shows signs of wear and tear.
