Crunchy Jelly Blackberries & Raspberries 1 kilo bag

I have ordered these on 5 occasions and have had 3 different makes. It does say in the small print that they will be dispatched from different suppliers, so I guess this is understandable. The first two lots were great - big and flavoursome and definitely blackberry and raspberry. The next two were rather smaller and all tasted the same, and the current lot are big and very sweet with crunchy coating, but don’t have any fruit flavour at all. I prefer the first ones (presumably Kingsway as advertised?) but the others are ok. Just sweeties, so not life or death!

The first pack of these were just what I expected and the same as some I had purchased from a local sweet shop, with a hint of the expected flavour from each colour. As a result I re-ordered but am disappointed with the second pack as they are different. Softer and slightly smaller, with little difference in flavour between the colours and certainly not of Raspberry or Blackberry.

I discovered the H*r*b* version of these in Portugal and loved them. Couldn't get them on my return to the UK so bought these.They are definitely crunchy but have no real flavour, fruity or otherwise so were a bit disappointing.

I was a bit concerned after buying these *then* reading the reviews. But the blackberries/raspberries I received are the ones I'm used to (I buy them as pick 'n' mix from Wilko). The taste is the same, and the gelatine core is sort of soft (not rigid, nor super soft). *shrug*

Excellent and prompt, but not cheap.

There are a lot more reds than blacks but I don’t mind that. Really good value for money. Can’t buy these anywhere! I love these sweets.
