This review is to clear up the confusion on the size.... People have been asking what size post fits the 6x6, and people are saying that 6x6 is the measurement of the base.Well that is totally wrong. 6x6 is for the post size. Which a 6x6 measures 5-1/2” x 5-1/2”. I didn’t measure the base, but the 6x6 is for a 6x6 and the 4x4 is for a 4x4. Hope this helps.As far as the quality, they are pretty darn good. They are strong and the paint is a very good quality. Almost feels like powder coated.I purchased these to replace a rotting 6x6 in my shed. I bolted the 6x6 to the concrete next to the rotting one. It worked perfect.

Holes for anchors to concrete are a bit below 7/16. I drilled mine out so I could use 1/2" anchors in fresh footings. Going through metal was easy enough to do with the right bit but the plate was thick and decent quality. I had planned to put bolts through the sides and the 6x6 but without them a post stands upright no issues when tightened with the 2 bolts in images. 6x6 nominal wood (5.5"×5.5" actual) fit in these but I had to round the corners for a bit of ease dropping this in. Only have just done installation but they seem decently build and will last. 4stars due to the bottom plate could be a little bigger to accommodate 1/2" clearance holes which appears to be concrete anchor standard sizes.

Great value. Would purchase again. Bought for carport posts. Very sturdy, do have to shave off a little when using 6 x 6 posts.

This kind of stuff is not easy to find just anywhere but Amazon always comes through. I needed 3 but it was cheaper to get the 4 pack. I had built some 6x6 posts to support the roof of my rv garage while I'm raising the joists to accommodate a taller garage door. These fit perfect and with tightening clamps and feet for attaching to the concrete floor they are very sturdy. Thanks Amazon for having things like this available.

Works great holds poles great while sitting up framing i gave four stars because bolts strip very easy when tightening recommendation buy new bolts before you start or don't use an impact

I ordered these to use as post bases on a pergola I built on some newly poured concrete in my backyard. I chose these for the reason of being able to anchor after the build. I used 3/8 wedge anchors and they fit just fine with a few taps. They seem very sturdy and well built and fit the 6×6 post just fine.....except for this one base. I checked the post to make sure it wasn't swollen or bowed. Post was fine I guess it was just a manufacturing defect. So I had to get some longer carriage bolts to close that gap up. Ended up being ok, but I was a little irritated at the fact that 3 fit perfect and this one was defective. I could have returned the set and gotten them replaced but I was on a short time frame to get my project finished. I gave it 3 stars for it still being a good product and actually doing the job, but I took off for the quality control issues. But overall not a bad product. And I would recommend them to anyone doing a similar project.
