This bag is great!
I bought this carry on bag specifically because of its light weight, and the location of the handle. I traveled with it last week and was amazed at how much it held!Because the wide handle slides into the corners of the bag, my clothes had a flat surface to pack onto. I brought a pair of tennis shoes and 2 pairs of leather heeled sandals, plus 3 pairs of pants, 6 shirts, a skirt, socks, undies, a nightgown, and a rain jacket. I also had room for a curling iron and my makeup bag.The large exterior zippered pocket is expandable, so I was able to put one pair of my sandals in it.The black and white checked design stood out from all the boring black luggage, so I was able to easily find it at the luggage claim (I had to check it at the gate due to a very full flight).

Handle is not too short, very light weight, held up for our trip!!
Just received this and I thought a picture of the handle might help. I almost didn’t buy it because of reviews that said the handle is too short. It is the same length as our larger cabin carry on. This is super light weight and seems roomy inside. I bought 4 for everyone in my family so we can have carry on for Ryanair strict sizes. I searched everywhere for the size and I’m really glad I didn’t pay attention to the review with the picture of the short handle. I’m 5’8” and I can roll it easily. I will update after our 12 day trip flying on 3 different airlines. Fingers are crossed they hold up.** Update ** All 4 of our suitcases held up great and we put them through a lot!! They fit perfectly in overhead luggage bins on Icelandair, Ryanair, and Norwegian. We stuffed them full!! No broken zippers. We hauled them up and down five flights of stairs, rolled them along streets, sidewalks, and cobbled walkways and for over a mile at one time. Rolled them on and off trains, metros, and escalators. Lifted them by the top and side handles. We even occasionally lifted them by the telescoping handle to get on and off escalators quickly. I honestly can't believe how well they held up especially for the price. And they fit easily in small cars, we had them in taxis and a rental car and they all 4 fit in the trunks just fine.Note on colors--the black and white checked has a gray interior, the red (seems a little pinkish at times especially the wheels) has a gray interior, the purple has an burnt orange interior, and the green has a burnt orange interior.

Liberating
Last year I splurged on a 22 inch B&R "carry-on" for a two-month trip to Europe. It was too heavy for me to lift, so I checked it on flights, and ultimately hurt my back schlepping it up and down stairs in metros and railroad stations. Determined to try carry-on only, I bought this bag for its size and weight. I successfully traveled Italy and Spain for two winter months on public transit as well as onboard for a total of 5 flights. I can lift it overhead, and I'm a puny 5'2". I was concerned about the small wheels, but they held up well over what has to have been a couple of miles of cobblestones. This is life-changing for me. I did have to pare down clothing options, but in winter I wore my down jacket every day anyway, so who cares? This bag made me feel free again. And I even got compliments on its looks!

Flimsy, not as much room as others
We purchased the IT Los Angeles and it luggage Megalite 21.9" Spinner with Expander, Baton Rouge to compare, and ended up keeping the Megalite instead. The IT Los Angeles is extremely lightweight – so light when it was delivered it felt like the box was empty – and about a pound less than the Megalite. But it felt very flimsy and poorly made in comparison. The retractable handle sticks, and while the square design looks like it would hold more when I tried packing both with our packing cubes there was a more room on top in the Megalite. My wife loved the color but not the pattern on this one, and the handles felt much more flimsy than the sturdy Megalite. Overall feels like it wouldn't survive more than 1-2 trips.PROS: Ultra lightweight. Square design allows large packing cubes to lie flat.CONS: Flimsy handles. Only 2 wheels vs 4 wheels on Megalite. Wheels stick. Retractable pull handle sticks, feels flimsy. Pattern is ugly. Doesn't fit as much in as Megalite. We sent it back.

Zipper broke on first trip. Warranty claim request being ignored.
Two stars because the bag is very light and travels well. ONLY two stars because one of the outside pocket zippers broke in my hand when I was zipping it normally to close it, on my first trip with the bag. The zipper head (made of PLASTIC) snapped in two leaving me with a pocket that won't zip and a zipper head that can't be reattached. I contacted IT luggage warranty site, provided photos, a scan of the receipt proving purchase and an explanation of the problem. I got ONE standard "We got your claim, we'll look at it" e-mail, and when I wrote back to check, they asked me to provide the info already provided (and an extra photo they needed). I provided that and contacted them yet again a week later. It's been a month - that's long enough to wait. Here's my review. The 10-year warranty apparently doesn't exist, and the zipper is poorly made/sourced for a bag that should be pretty tough.

Roomy and practical, slightly flimsy outer fabric
This suitcase is indeed extremely lightweight, and the full-width handle creates loads of packing space inside. It is easy to use and to pull along, also easy to collapse the handle and carry in one hand. It fits (just) into an overhead locker and meets standard carry-on regulations of airlines. The outer pocket holds a slimline laptop but offers little protection for it. The only downside is that the outer covering material is a bit flimsy, but no doubt this contributes to the overall very light weight. I'm happy with it so far, but have used it on only one trip, I hope it's substantial enough for many more.

This is quite a big case
If you are looking for something a bit larger than the small case, this is not it. The case is more than double the size of the small case (I know this is stated in the article, and not saying this has been mis-sold in any way). It is a shame IT luggage do not make something in-between, around 50L as this is a big step up in size from the small (30L). I'm sure there must be a market for people that stay away Mon-Fri and need something larger than the small case, but this is way too large.

Excellent lightweight carry-on case
An excellent lightweight small car ideal for carry-on for many airlines. Question on durability it seems, and mine on first trip so might need to comment further in due course. However handle design gives more space and flat floor, good internal straps, very practical inside and outside pockets, wheels fine, and even stands up, without falling over! Almost always only take carry on, and so far this seems ideal.
