Digital Light Illuminance Meter, UYIGAO Lightmeter Tester,Lux/FC Unit with Data Hold and Backlight,Lux Meter with 0-200,000 Lux and 4-bit Color LCD Display

Bought this and some color transparencies to compare and evaluate lighting set-ups for indoor gardening. I only use the red and blue filters to evaluate spectral balance and I still need to standardize a setup for comparing assorted light bulbs and fixtures but have been enjoying doing rough measurements. Can't vouch for accuracy (no other standard) but repeatability seems excellent, meaning results can be used for relative comparison. Wayyy cheaper than the spectrophotometer of which I dream.

This was a very nice light meter but not suitable for photography. Readings would require more calculations in order to use for that. Item was returned and processed quickly so they get an A for that, but had to pay return postage. Maybe that is just the way it is even for Prime.

No batteries with the package as it said, better options outhere.

Says it measures PAR for LED lights but no setting for it and nothing in the instructions sense I wasn’t sure I had to return it
