We "rescued" a rather large and older puppy, to come to live with us and our two other dogs. We live at the beach, and our dogs frequently walk off leash. Our new dog was unresponsive to returning when we called, sometimes running into people's homes or jumping up on others. Positive reinforcement with treats or praise didn't work. So, we tried the collar, giving ourselves a test with the shock on high to make sure it wasn't pain inducing (which, it isn't, just enough shock to make you pay attention, not painful). He learned very quickly that if he didn't respond to tone or vibrate that a shock would come and he is very well behaved now. We love that the remote has a lock button on it so that we can prevent a shock from accidentally happening, and that the strength button is on the side, separate from tone/vibrate/shock (so that we don't accidentally turn it up to a higher level). Also, we lost our remote on the beach and the company was incredibly responsive in getting back to us about a replacement!!! Highly recommend this product.

Powerful features and simple operation. Many of the previously used collars are 0-99 level, which makes me very upset. I’m very satisfied when I bought this collar, the operation is more convenient, and the electric shock and vibration effects did not weaken and seemed to be more powerful. I can make different degrees of punishment for the dog's bad behavior.

I have had a doggie door and an invisible fence for my 25lb dog for the past several years. It's been awesome for my dog to go outside on his own as needed, and I trained him to be very respectful of the yard boundaries. However, he recently started barking a lot when he was outside, and this was a very challenging problem. It seemed to be an impossible task for me to train him to stop barking. However, with this Peston training collar and remote, I found the perfect training solution. Since my dog is already well trained with his invisible fence, he already responds very well to the chirping and vibration that the Peston collar emits with the remote control. I don't intend to ever use the static correction button. I've found my dog responds extremely well to the vibration mode. When I first received my new Peston collar, I tried to give my dog a verbal command to stop barking whenever I could, and if he didn't stop, I gave him a vibration correction via the remote. He would immediately stop barking. I've also used the vibration to help me train him to stop sniffing around my gas grill and on other behaviors I was trying to correct. This is the perfect and effective training tool. It really helped that he was already trained with the invisible fence, and he hates it whenever he gets an audible chirp warning from his fence collar. I also like that the Peston collar is remote control driven, so there is no chance of a false correction for my dog. I find using it very sparingly to be the most effective method.Also, I must comment on the extraordinary customer service of Peston. I had an issue with the collar when I first received it, and they responded to my email within an hour, and continuously followed up with me until everything was perfect. I highly recommend this company and this particular model.

I an very happy with it. At first we had to use the vibrate a lot accompanied with voice commands just to make sure he knew what was expected. Eventually, he learned just to when he hears the tone, it is time to stop what he's doing!

I love that this has 3 settings (sound, vibration, shock) and each of those has a ton of intensity settings so you can customize it to your dog's needs. We've been using just a low vibration setting and she stops what she's doing immediately and looks around trying to figure out what just happened.

Buddy is a German Shepherd Dog and was born in October. He is a naughty boy, because he was very excited when I took him out. I'm worried about him, so I have to use this training collar to Buddy. He was awfully shocked when started with electric shock，I use more vibrations or sounds，Buddy seemed to understand the wrong action，what a great collar！
