Slightly different than the stock photo, but what can you expect, it was close enough. Synthetic yarn (read: don't get close to flames), but comfortable and feels warm. Also seems well put together. It isn't the worst 11.99 I've ever spent! I'm looking to put it to use on the slopes. This might actually be better than a balaclava for mouth protection, I have a problem with them where they fog up my glasses when skiing. If I don't need it, and this keeps my face warm enough, I can see how the "yarnticles" spread out and redirect the warm breath from my goggles while keeping my face warm. I'll update after I use it.

I got this to use at a gift exchange for a robotics group. The rule is that there's a maximum spending limit, plus there are both adults and children, so it's hard to find a non-junk gift. The other rule of the exchange is that you can switch someone else's gift with yours if you like their gift better. People were arguing (in a good-natured way) over who got this. When someone finally claimed it (because time ran out), it got passed around because everyone wanted to try it (good thing we all wash regularly). This was the hit gift of the party, which made both me and the recipient happy.

Took my son skiing about a week before Christmas, and we saw someone wearing these. He thought they were pretty awesome. He was ecstatic to open his up for Christmas. They have a bit of an odd smell, which I think is from the fabric, not anything bad that would have stopped me from buying it, but wasn't expecting it. I'm guessing the smell will go away after using them. I'd buy them again.

Cool concept. Fit was a little off. Nephews wore theirs snowboarding and got compliments. It did come with a really nasty strong odor that took them a couple washes to get rid of

It is a cheap novelty headgear -- contrary to description, it's not cotton (seems to be some cheap synthetic yarn), and it smells. But the smell goes away if you wash it, and it's better than cotton for outside use, and as a reviewer said, the beard is above your mouth, so it doesn't interfere with your breathing.

I have a big head and it still fit. Very stretchable. High quality construction. I love it. I used it for a Zoidberg costume I wore on Halloween.

Bought it as a gift for my adult son. He loves it! Super warm and keeps it's shape. Great color!

It said universal fit but it does not fit adult heads at all, very small. Now I am saving it in the hopes my child might wear it years from now when she is big enough.
