Best I’ve found so far.
I’m picky, and this is the best I’ve found so far.The good:- Good size (B5–approximately the size of a composition notebook)- One dot grid page and one lined page on the same spread is super convenient for a bunch of different applications- Very nice, soft cover—simple and elegant, no obnoxious branding- Accent colors (elastic and ribbon) are nicely matched to the main journal cover- Back pocket is nicely reinforced within the side folds with a coordinated color fabric- Dots and lines align on both sides of spread, with no crookedness anywhere throughout- Nicely packaged, basically ready to gift- Lays completely flat- No ink bleed-through (Pilot Varsity medium nib)- Good value for the moneyThe bad:- Cover was indented at the top from the elastic strap when it arrived- Cover warps easily (mine is slightly warped and I’ve only had it open for ~8 hours)- Some ghosting when using fountain pens—noticed some feathering as well, but I write with a heavy hand and Varsity medium nib is a bit feathery by default so it might be me- First page does not lay flat, and it wants to tear off along its perforation (I reinforced the perforated edge with Scotch tape)The picky:- Dots are slightly too dark and lines are slightly too light for my liking- Only one ribbon- Pages are not numbered- No table of contents areaWhere your mileage may vary:- I don’t quite know how to feel about the large-ish box in each corner of every page (gives you a way to get a margin and number pages, write out topics, etc., but I still have a hard time with how big they are)- Every page is perforated, which I personally dislike- The paper is a light cream (with grey ink printing), and it’s a decent quality paper, but it’s not amazing eitherOverall, I’d buy it again. I wish PAIPUR would put these out in hardcover on stone paper with at least 2 more ribbons, because it’s unlikely I’d buy anything else at that point. I’d deal with the rest of it to have my other problems solved.

Will never use another Notebook again!
So I don’t usually write a review but this is a product that I can’t say enough about. I’ve used other notebooks similar to this but have fewer options on grids and lined paper. This Paipur notebook is the PERFECT combo for those who like both! I love that it has the ribbon marker, back envelope, and has a sturdy cover. The paper is good quality although I wish that it didn’t curl slightly when I draw a lot on it or occasionally paint with watercolor which I kind of think is impossible. I LOVE this notebook and have officially converted from using a popular more expensive notebook (starts with an m and ends with a n). This will forever be my GO-TO! If you are undecided my advice is to TRY IT.... you will NOT regret it!

Gorgeous Notebook to Keep You Organized
I got the narrow dot/rule Paipur notebook in blue, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I am a design student and the format of this notebook works perfectly for the work I do. It’s got a really good looking design, and all of the features you would want in a softcover notebook.

Not what I hoped it would be
I really wanted to like this. Really really. It ghosts with a crayola fine tip marker. Ghosts badly with a Flair felt tip pen, ballpoint pen, and I’m gonna guess any pen you have for your BUJO will ghost on the other side of this paper. The color is GORGEOUS and the size is perfect.BUT.. The bullets are on the left, lines on the right.Major bummer for right brained individuals.I’ve been trying to convince myself that I’m being too picky... but the ghosting bothers me. The layout is so so and the sturdiness I’m used to helping write on the left side of things is missing. All in all I’m underwhelmed and disappointed

Finally, At Last!
Originally, I was searching for an all dotted grid notebook. This notebook would be utilized for work to which it involves lots of multitasking and a variety of projects. As I began utilizing this notebook, I immediately noticed how useful it was having both dotted and ruled options. For example, I would utilize the dotted grid for strategy by drawing out an ecosystem map and the ruled side for in-depth explanation/processes. Not only did things seem to flow easier, it helped by adding a story to my strategy without having to cram everything in on one page. Also, five stars to the professional look of the notebook as I have received several compliments during meetings. I would certainly love to see this notebook available in a larger size. Many thanks! It took a very long time to finally have found the PERFECT and most USEFUL notebook!

Functional!
I love this journal and drag it will me everywhere. It is stuffed with business cards, scraps of paper, binder clips and magnetic clips all holding receipts, reminders and things I just have to have. The dotted pages make it easy to stay in the lines if you want, or you can just write anyway you want across the page. Lightweight to carry and I usually have it in my hand rather than a bag. Love the look and feel of the cover. Will definitely get another because I love it. I've tried a lot of journals and this is the best. Perfect size for me.

Perfect for tabletop rpgs
I absolutely love this notebook! I'm the designated note taker for our weekly tabletop rpg group (D&D 5e) and this notebook has really helped me step up my game. The dot grid is perfect for drawing maps of dungeons or keeping small notes about loot or plot threads while I write out my full notes on the lined side. The pocket in the back let's me store game handouts and the bookmark and elastic closure makes sure I can get started without having to find my spot. It worked out WAY better than I thought it would and this is pretty much the only notebook brand I'll use for gaming from now on!
