Initially we were hesitant to pay this much for what is essentially a wooden bath mat, but after using it now for a couple of weeks, I can honestly say that this product is worth it. There are other cheaper options, and there are other more expensive options....this was the perfect price point for us. It is high quality, looks really nice, and works really nicely as a bath mat. The teak feels great on your feet, and dries off rather quickly. It also has some spring to it, which feels good too.I will caution you to measure what ever area you will be using this mat in before you purchase; this thing is rather large. Luckily we had the room in front of our shower, but it might be problematic with tighter bathrooms. Also be careful when you walk past it....because it is raised off of the floor by about an inch and a half it is like a magnet for toes. I almost stubbed my toes about 10 times during the first week. Now that we are used to it, we don't have that problem. I also would not recommend this solution for young children because of the reasons I just listed. This product would also work very well as a mat outside of a porch or pool area. Enjoy!

Needed some extra space to take off sandals to use the steps to enter our new hot tub and it fit perfectly for that application has a great natural look with the teak...

This is a high-quality product, worth the price. We purchased two to cover most the floor of a large 43 x 43 master bathroom shower; these were the closest in size. They work great, feel solid and slightly "springy" with no rattling or splinters. No odors or negatives so far. I zip-tied them together since they tended to drift apart during a shower, but if you have a smaller stall this is not a negative. Highly Recommended!

I chose this wooden "duckboard" after getting frustrated with dirty, poorly adhering anti-slip strips we used in our shower stall. Both of us are surprised at how much we like it. We are careful to keep it clean -- use a shower spray after each use -- and prop it on its side to air dry between showers. We've had it for quite a few months now, with no problems. It's sturdy and well made, feels great underfoot, and looks 100 percent better than the failed no-slip strips.

I sent this back and will be pursuing other options.Teak mats on Amazon are about half of what they cost from companies that specialize in teak, but this one looked nice so I thought I'd give it a shot.The mat was shipped with no padding in the box, so one of the corners was damaged upon arrival.The mat also didn't sit flush and wobbled pretty severely from the center being higher than the two sides. Imagine this was just from poor QA.

After contemplating building my own shower mat & pricing out raw materials, I decided on this purchase. It is well made and a value when compared to raw material price and time to make your own. I bought 2 “used” models and am unable to see any defects. I would definitely purchase again!
