I hookedthis unit up and it picked up all my neighbors signals (which I can't use due to needing a password), McDonalds signal (which you can't use because you need to click their accept button once you connect, but cannot connect with wi/fi extender until you click it), and the wi/fi signal from the hotel 3/4 of a block away. The question I could not find an answer to before I bought this was "Can I use it with McDs wi/fi?" I just answered that. You must have the password to use a secure network, and I don't know of a way to bypass "click to connect" links. It works great for wifi if you know the password, or if the network is unsecure. Keep in mind, if the network is unsecure, so are you.

Hoped it would extend my internet signal to rooms further away from my modem. Found it actually drastically reduced the signal causing major buffering of streaming. Removed it and got double the mbps to extended rooms. This unit is a piece of junk

Slightly confusing to install but once I got it going it’s given us a noticeably better connection. WiFi router is upstairs so we’d have a bad connection downstairs when trying to stream Netflix. Not anymore.

Easy to setup. Internet connection seemed to hold initially. Starting about 45 days after install, Internet connection holds for only a couple of hours. Worthless. Too late to return. Can't find warranty contact info online.

Never could get to the screen where you could login in and use their login name and password that were provided.Tossed the unit in the waste basket and will buy another from a local electronics Store where the salesman can demonstrate how to hook it up and make it work before I buy it..

Works good. I have it located about 20 feet from my wifi router and were able to get a signal throughout 2300 square foot home.

I like how easy it was to install and how it works
