Dimensions
First of all, I believe Marcy makes a good product for home use. I own other Marcy products and will continue to buy the brand.However, dimensions I needed to see were not posted with this product and I probably would not have purchased this rack if they were.The distance between the floor plate and the first rung is approximately 8.5 inches (a little more).The distance between the top of the lowest rung and the bottom of the highest rung is approximately 15 in.My situation is probably unusual: I bought a 45 and 25lb weight - Olympic (and I'm aware this is a standard rung/rack, but I wanted to be able to mix and match)- and they both touch the floor plate and do not "hang" on the rung.It's not bad- and its not worth returning over this, but I wanted you to have this information if you were making similar decisions.

Does what its supposed to
I've had this rack for about 4 months now. I've got anywhere from 40 -100lbs sitting each individual peg. I haven't had any issues so far. (It doesn't do anything but sit there so there's not much else to say lol). I plan to buy another one when I need more weight.

Built to last
I bought this brand partly on the strength of a Marcy weight stack machine I bought about 25 years ago that held up very well. This unit is likewise built to last. Only quibble is branches wobble slightly due to the way they’re fixed to the limbs, but they seem sturdy enough. Assembly took about an hour, but I wasn’t rushing because it was kinda fun. The parts arrived well organized and the instructions clear. Overall a solid choice.

Perfect Size
I bought some adjustable dumbbells that can also be converted to barbells with the heavy plastic sand-filled weights and this has been the perfect storage rack for them. This fits well in the corner of our room, holds all the weights without feeling flimsy, and I think it can easily hold more if I decide to add to my weights.
