Great product
Can’t expect it will give the best price to value ratio , but I guess that would be the same for most “ luxury” productsHowever, Definitely one of the best steam iron on earth you can findI particularly like The fact that even it is a steam iron, it is extremely hot that work just like traditional non-steam iron, the best of both worlds combined

The best steam generator l’ve ever purchased
Although expensive it’s well worth it. After years of purchasing steam generator irons and them only lasting 2-3 years l thought l would invest in this model and l was particularly attracted to the 10 year guarantee. It’s very easy to use and provides the best vertical steaming l have ever had. the only criticism l would make is that the water container is quite small compared with the other models but once refilled it is ready to use straight away.

Great steaming function
The most beautiful iron I’ve ever seen and functions beautifully. Both style and function have not been sacrificed.Really good for steaming. Decent amount of water in the carrier. And the iron has good weight to itLove!

Not sure worth the money
I read complaints on this item as the filters are expensive but you don’t buy a Porsche if you can’t afford to fill it with petrol! That said it is a lovely piece of kit, whether it’s worth the money remains to be seen. Not had it long, just find the wire stand rather fiddly and cumbersome. I have purchased more filters just in case. I now crave to do the ironing. I guess when you have paid such a lot of money, for an iron anyway, it should inspire you , in my opinion.Initial teething problems have now been sorted and I whizz through my ironing in no time. As my hands are becoming arthritic, this is a god send. With regards to the filters I seem to get a lot of use out of each filter, but then I do not have a large family but still iron most things including sheets and numerous shirts and trousers etc. I could not go back to a traditional iron now, it laborious and time consuming.

An quality iron that packs a punch and the long cable length's are so useful
Laurastar is a quality Swiss brand that make ironing systems, by that I mean professional ironing boards where the iron and huge water tanks are built in to the boards and are used in a more professional environment like a theatre where they are constantly turing round lots of costumes. These smaller irons although still very big are targeted at the home market but still have the excellent features you would find on the bigger professional ironing systems. The iron looks expensive and it is expensive. It claims to be able to purify clothes with its unique steam to kill bacteria an mites that live in your clothes. Not really something i’ve ever looked for when buying a new iron and it all sounds good and very scientific.. but most likely not necessary. We’ve survived up till now without the need for purifying and killing bacteria on our clothes.I’m impressed the steam you get from the iron, it feels very powerful and does leave clothes looking fresh. I like that I can steam things like the curtains when they are hanging with the really long chord and also freshen a up a bedspread while its on the bed.The mains cable length is a very generous 2.3mtres which is really useful and also a cool built in auto rewind feature that pulls the chord back in to the ironing unit. The ironing chord is a very long 1.95metres, this means you could have the main unit on the floor and still have plenty of cable to iron with. There’s a removable rubber mat on the main unit that the iron sits against when stored away. You can remove this mat and place it on your ironing board tray so you can rest your iron while not using it. The iron has a safety 10min auto switch off if not used. The water tank is easily removable and holds a good 1.1litres of water. It has a built-in anti-scale filter cartridge system which I really like the idea of, as limescale is what destroys our iron’s. We live in a very hard water area. The cartridges are around £40 for three, quite expensive for what they are but then if I get a few more years out the iron it’ll be money well spent. We have a fairly decent ironing board and with this iron I’m finding I only need to iron one side of most clothes. The powerful steam is enough to do a great job on both sides which saves time. Theirs is an additional protective soleplate for really delicate fabrics but so far I’ve not needed this.Overall is a quality and very well-made iron and does a fantastic job. I love it but it is very expensive. Maybe if you are doing a ton of ironing each week then this would be a good investment.
