Works great
I used this to evacuate replace my power steering fluid in my vehicle. Just hook up the provided tubing to the return line and begin pumping. It quickly removed the old fluid from the system, while a slowly added fresh fluid into the reservoir. Ten minutes later, I was done. I will use this in the future for changing oil in my mower. It provides multiple diameter lines to choose from for the application you have. Just remember, unless you release the vacuum when using, it will continue to suction fluid after you stop pumping. It’s super easy to release the vacuum if that’s what you’re needing to do.

Broken by the third use.
Worked great for one oil change. 3000 miles later, time for another change and the thing is already broken and leaking oil. Between the base and body. Do not recommend.

Change Your Own Car Oil with No Mess or Additional Tools
I was tired of facing the villians at the local oil change shops so investigated changing my own. I have no facilities to get under my car, so this item that snakes directly into the hole where the dipstick fits was a perfect solution. Drove the car around the block to heat up the engine (not too far or too hot), shoved one of the tubes into the dipstick hole, gave it about 10 hand pumps and the oil started flowing. Took about 15 minutes in all to get the oil out, then poured the new oil in and I was done. You should also change the filter which can take another 5 minutes with the right tool, Now the cost of my oil change is what I pay for the oil and filter from Amazon, about 30% of the cost of the local quick change shops.

works well, don’t be in a hurry
All these vacuum type “suckers” have one thing to keep in mind, they take some time. If you’re in a hurry to drain your car or truck oil you’ll be disappointed. But other than that they get the job done neatly. This one has a few hose diameters to suit your needs but unless you extend the hose it’s to short to reach most right out of the box. So be prepared. This company would have gotten 5 stars had they provided extension hose.

Worked as advertised
Used this on a Mercedes SL500, which has 7.9 q of Oil. With the low clearance and that much oil, it seemed like it would be a lot of effort getting the vehicle up and drained. This really cut down on the time, effort, and mess.Only used it once, so I have no idea on the long term quality of the product.

Works fine but not long enough
So this thing was the cheapest oil change vacuum pump I could find and it DID work just fine. However the hoses weren’t long enough to be able to rest the canister on the ground while you pump the handle to extract the oil. I literally had to hold it up awkwardly while it was siphoning off the oil. Also I couldn’t fill the container to the top because I had to hold it on n angle. Extension hoses offered as an extra would be nice. Now I’m going to have to scour the internet for something that will attract b to the end of the thing that it came with to make it longer.
