Works great going to get one more for a different high trail

This should be standard equipment on the Traxxas TRX4 and 6 trucks...simple installation and even hardware for a permanent install...I used the double sided tape provided without any issues...it works with just a light touch to turn on/off the reciever and it so out of the way that when out and about...nothing can get to the switch to turn off the truck...

Was hesitant due to some negative reviews, but it does fit and align with the ESC button on my Bronco.It was unclear that you’re expected to drill a couple holes in addition to the adhesive strips - maybe I just missed that. But no problem!Except one problem - one of the two mounting holes is directly under the lever arm. You can’t even get the supplied screw in there without it being installed yet, let alone try to mark the hole location so you can drill a hole. So I just installed it as-is with the adhesive strips, drilled a thru-hole in the chassis at other location, the a new hole next to the lever arm through both the mount and chassis. Put the hardware through and tightened it down.Seems solid, works great - allows on/off/mode without removing the body!!

At first it seemed like a brilliant idea and it is.The problem is it's too easy to bump it and cause an unwanted start or shutdown.

Soooo much better than removing body to turn the truck on or off. These come with screws and nuts, some others just like it don't. Definitely need to install the screws. I love 3M but the pads alone just wouldn't do.

Does not even work the handle is to short and the range of motion is non existent had high hopes for this since its a pain to take the truck body off to power it up so frustrating

when I got this I was skeptical because it seemed like it was going to just smash the button at all times. but once you mount it with the adhesive tape, the tape raises it the perfect amount and is a very clean install.I drilled the holes before mounting the switch with the tape. I reccoment mounting it using the tape, then drill the holes for the screws, just use an Allen key to remove the red switch and you will have access to drill the holes. also dont over tighten the screw for the switch it will make it smash the handle. it works great!

Reviews said the tape sucked, it did. Reviews said the button pusher thingy part would need to be shaved down to prevent constant pressure on the switch, it did. I also found that backing the screw out a little lessened the pressure. From the moment I bought this RC i was looking for a solution to this problem, this is a solution. A well designed solution. Change the description to "some fitment required" and double the price because it is worth every penny of its cost and every moment of your time to not have to take the body off every time.
