This ladder is just the right size very light so it's easy to move and easy to set up. Also has the shelf that you can lay things on while working.

Best Step Ladder I've Ever Owned
This step ladder is lighter and more sturdy than any step ladder I've seen.Even on uneven ground this step ladder feels rock-steady. In addition to being absurdly light-weight, this step-ladder's weight distribution makes it easy to carry around or haul up and down stairs. Its center of mass and weight distribution are obviously very well-thought out by the engineers who designed it.Folds up thinner than you'd expect. The hand grip, which I originally thought would be a throw-away feature turns out to be very useful because it was well designed. Easy to use, sturdy, and effective, it makes using the highest step not only safe, but makes the highest step FEEL safe, which is equally as important. The legs are well protected by plastic which don't mar or scratch our delicate wooden floors, while at the same time is slide resistant. It opens and closes quite easily. When you open the ladder, it locks into place. There are no sharp corners or angles to scratch your hands around the unlock mechanism.I'm 5'8", and the ladder is perfect in step size and height for me. I suspect it will be perfect for anyone of "normal size".The only slightly negative comment I have is with the tray. I wish it were a little more sturdy. I also wish it were flat, although the indentations are useful to hold nails or bolts. When I rest my electric drill on it, I feel like I have to lay the drill down to keep it stable. Not a big deal, and certainly not enough to reduce this below 5 stars.I would say this product deserves the tag-line "It's worth every single penny". I'm extremely happy with the purchase. It's the best step-ladder I've ever owned.Vendor: It shipped well packed and delivery was speedy.Final grades:Aesthetics: A-Functionality: A+Vendor: AOverall Grade: A

Great light duty ladder
Purchased 2/9/21 for $55.I use this ladder a couple hours a week, every week.Have realistic expectations with this item. I purchased this particular item because I wanted a ladder that was light and maneuverable in small spaces. I purchased a Dyson cordless vacuum over a Miele, even though it is a worse vacuum, because I could grab it fast and easy more often. Same logic with this ladder. This ladder isn't the most sturdy but I wouldn't describe it as weak. I used it shortly after I purchased on an uneven surface (it does say not to do this right on the ladder..) and now it has a very slight warp/wobble to it. It's not very noticeable and doesn't really affect the performance. A steel ladder likely wouldn't have experienced this. Ensure the surface is flat and the ladder is unencumbered and you shouldn't have any issues. My wife and I are 130lbs and 150lbs. If you are much heavier than this I would not buy this ladder. The weight limit says 225lbs, I'm sure it wouldn't collapse at that weight, but you would probably need to be quite careful with it.The tray option is certainly strong enough. A gallon of paint is fine on it. I'm never worried about it unlocking accidentally and falling closed on me, dropping whatever is on it. This strong lock means closing it can kind of be a pain.Closing the ladder itself is easy enough, although it's not as ergonomic or intuitive as you might think. I usually close it with one hand and my hip. When using two hands place your other hand not on the legs of the ladder. I trapped my finger one of the first times I used it which was an unfortunate experience to say the least.Solid 4 stars. It's a light maneuverable aluminum ladder. If it were a little sturdier and didn't bite I'd say 5.

Strong,sturdy,well made
I Love this 3 step ladder.SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT.I have had the same one for many years @ 10.It's in a lot of my old project pictures.I retired the old one by giving it away one day, to a person that need one.So I saw same one, that had a tool tray pull out.Why not,I deserve it.Perfect for many projects, super lite and sturdy.but listen to the weight limit. They say and restrict lbs for a reason..225 lbs should be max.Hope this helps great 3 step Rubbermaid.
