The jar and airlock and lid came 3 days early . There was a small crack in the lid but I contacted the seller and within days q new lid was at my door . The seller was so polite, professional and understanding will defintely buy from them again !

I use these jars to condition wine and mead especially if I need to back-sweeten. A full gallon goes right to the base of the neck keeping headspace small. The wide mouth gives me room to carefully stir in additional sugar/honey when needed and avoid oxygenating the must.The center-aligned grommit is the way to go. I ordered a version of this with the offset grommit and the lid rotation on closing pulled the lid liner off the grommit. This version did not have that problem.I've ordered several of these and they've worked perfectly. Will be ordering more.

Does what it should- but the lid is 2 layers and makes sterilizing it questionable. getting the gasket on the vent hole was tricky too. Over all its fine and functional though

Easy to use i perfer the wide mouth for my guava mead as it is really easy to fully clean

Use to make mead in college with a similar setup. It's been thirteen years, but this kit made setup easy and quick. It even has the same style of air gap for the lid. Very nice.

I've bought two of these now to take up mead making at home, and I'm debating picking up a few more so I can have more batches going at once. Both have come in great shape and have done well for me. Top notch quality for a price that doesnt break the bank.

Cheap doesn’t even have the right seal on the lid, cheap lid, and Glass is a little thin.that’s why it’s discounted.
