Great stand and great bargain.
It's hard to get excited about a microphone stand, but this one is really great. And for the price, it's a tremendous bargain. With some of my other (more expensive) stands, the boom keeps slipping at the pivot point. This one doesn't slip at all, I think because it has slight indentations inside the pivoting device (I don't know what you call it.) The stand is very lightweight, but it's also very sturdy. It just seems to be extremely well designed. It doesn't include a microphone clip or holder. Overall, just a great stand and a great bargain.

Great product!
This is a great product and easy to assemble, but I did not keep it, as it did not have the microphone clip or holder. It was noted in the description. I just did not read/see it. I was able to send this back and refund my money. It is a decent product at a decent price, if you already have a microphone clip or holder.

Low Cost and Cheaply Made
I received the correct microphone stand this time. It was undamaged and all the parts were in the box. The Amazon Basics Adjustable Boom Arm Height Microphone Stand with Tripod Base, Up to 85.75 Inches - Black is low cost and cheaply made. You get what you pay for. But it is usable for my home music studio. I don't recommend this microphone stand for live performance anywhere. I would not buy it again.

Exactly Fine
It holds a mic. It's not pricey. If that's what you want, this is fine.It does say Amazon on it, so your friends will be impressed for sure, as most of the famous blues artists used Amazon mic stands. But you knew that.Balance? Weight? Longevity? This is not being sold as super sturdy. It's not too heavy and will serve its purpose for anything that isn't unusually heavy. The thumbscrews appear to be a little flimsy, but I've had no issues. If you combine the weak-feeling thumbscrews with a too-heavy mic, you will meet this device's limitations.

Great stand
As long as you tighten everything properly where you want it, nothing is going to really fall over. I don't use it TOO often right now, but the microphone I have on it is mildly heavy, and sitting at an awkward angle with no problemsThat being said, the base for this stand is the STRONGEST foot magnet around. I feel like I could be halfway across the room and still somehow trip over it

Falls over unless in a specific position
I have a Blue Snowball attached to mine. If the arm is not over one of the legs, it will fall over. This is not good at handling weight. Also, when I change the angle to be bigger, it always falls down no matter how much I tighten it. It is easy to tighten and loosen, but it does its own thing. It does not fall when I make it taller. The arm fits my pop filter just fine. I like the cable-management accessory clips that it came with, so that my audio cable stays on the rod. It is not a sturdy piece though. I also wish the arm was longer. I have it out at long as possible, and it barely reaches me. I can't have it closer because the feet are where my desk is, and my PC is also in the way.
