I wish I would have found this years ago! It is a solid one piece scoop. It seems like it is very sturdy. It has a good heavy weight to it. I believe I may never need to buy another ice cream scoop again as I don’t see this breaking with normal use. I love that I can dip hard ice cream as soon as it comes out of the freezer without the need to wait for it to thaw a little first. I can’t comment on rust resistance at this time as I just got it, but it is dishwasher safe.

This is one very sturdy ice cream scoop. It scoops very well and has a really nice grip. I love that there are so many colors to choose from. I got green and the color is just as shown online. I think this is a great value for the money and I'm very happy that I went with this scoop.

The media could not be loaded. I had to replace my 20-year-old pampered chef liquid handle ice cream scooper that I loved so much! I thought nothing could take its place. This scoop here, I love it! I should’ve replaced mine along time ago. I don’t know if it will hold up for 20 years but it’s very sturdy. The handle is solid. The scoop itself is really nice. Cleans up well even in the dishwasher.. I’ve had it for a month or so & use it on a daily basis. We love our ice cream in this household.! Pretty decent scooper. Those are pretty good job with really hard ice cream. The handle is very comfortable. Very streamlined and easy to clean. The only thing I would complain about is I find it difficult to get a spherical scoop, but that's not really a big deal to me.

There's also a divet in the handle to get the lids off the ice cream that is suctioned to the top for some reason! Highly recommend!
