This product is amazing and my chiropractor has always recommended it. However, don't get it from Amazon. The storage must be poor because 2 bottles in a row came through smelling rancid! Order elsewhere. NOW for the product, it is a quality source of Vitamin C that is readily absorbed through the intestinal lining by the body. It quickly helps with giving my body the boost it needs when we start with this season of sickness.

95% of the Vitamin C on the market is from China! NOT good! When buying Vitamin C your research is critical to finding something that is of high quality or you're just wasting your money. I used to buy VIVA Vitamin C and until they were either bought out or changed their formula or wherever they're getting their raw materials, it's no longer the same. You can tell if you're getting a good vitamin C by how your gums are acting. If you have bleeding gums, your Vitamin C is less than desirable and should be pitched into the garbage. I like this particular Vitamin C because my gums no longer bleed and one area my dental hygienist said I'd need some deep cleaning in if I didn't get in there more diligently with my floss (which I'm on it every night without fail and don't collect tartar - I know, I'm lucky!) so I changed my VIVA out for this brand and type, Dr Mercola's LIPOSOMAL and believe you me, am I ever glad I did! Even where I shop at the organic PCC food co-op, say this is a quality made product they stand by as well. As an added FYI, did you know that if you get a hangover, and you've been taking a good amount of Vitamin C every day, it will clear the alcohol from your body faster than those who don't take it!?! And you'll either not have as bad of a hangover or you can take more to rid it quickly. It can also ward off cataracts if taken with A, E and Selenium and can prevent heart disease. Whoa! All good news eh?! Hey Mom always said to eat your veggies, but I bet she didn't give you Vitamin C and there isn't much in fruit juices. =) I suggest taking at least 2,000mg 3X daily since we don't make it in our bodies nor does it stay long in either) and you'll be a happy camper! =)

I’ve been buying Dr Mercola vitamins for years! Unfortunately, something went wrong, and I will no longer purchase the lipsomal vitamin C. I thought maybe I got a bad batch so Amazon refunded my money right away and I ordered another one. To my surprise it was the same horrible smell that made me sick to my stomach. So once again, I have requested a 2nd refund. And yes, Amazon will refund you, but the product is non-returnable. I reached out to the support team on Dr Mercola’s website via email so hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of this. More importantly they need to pull this batch/lot and refund everybody who complained about this same issue.

I can’t say I feel any better while taking this supplement, but most Vit C supplements trigger cold sores with me. This brand does not. To me, that’s a plus.
