Excellent for Renewed!
Overall very good for a renewed motherboard on Amazon. I was very surprised to find that the cpu socket was good, and everything else was perfectly fine. The only thing I could find bad is that some of the heat sinks were scratched but not really noticeable. The NVME heat sink did have a thermal pad but it was old and wasn’t really able to be used. Another downside would be that it did not come with motherboard stand off screws, I’ve never bought a motherboard that isn’t renewed so I’m not sure what to expect, but I ended up having to get some screws out of the drawer of darkness to put it in my case. Overall it feels like an absolute steal for the money besides the Z690 chipset being a bit older but still an excellent piece of hardware.

Lazy resale of obvious defective item
I was sold a defective motherboard. After multiple failed attempts to get the PC to post, I tried a BIOS reflash—only to find that the BIOS flash button was completely missing. Whoever returned this board likely bricked it, and it clearly wasn’t inspected before being resold. The board also had visible scratches all over it. I understand that hardware can be defective, but this should have been tested before being put back on the market. Instead, it feels like it was just reboxed and sent out again in bad condition. Really disappointing and careless.

Good option for the money
The board I received came in pretty solid condition. The sticker was removed from the NVME cooler and there is a tiny spot of thermal grease inside the cpu socket, aside from that though it is very clean with no bent pins anywhere. Works as intended so farDefinitely examine closely if you order one, regardless of the seller refurbished products will always have issues here and there with items going out before refurbishing.Included most original accessories, all factory sealed (SATA cables, m.2 standoffs, and WiFi antenna. However it did not include a usb drive with drivers that would normally come with a MSI motherboard, bit disappointed by that.BIOS was also quite out of date. Normally I wouldn’t mind this but considering the recent issues Intel has had with degradation it really should be sold with the most recent BIOSIf you are not comfortable doing a BIOS update, I would recommend against this refurbished board. Otherwise it’s solid bang for your buck. Just inspect it carefully before you put things together

Effortless Assembly and Rock-Solid Packaging!
I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward the installation process was. The board arrived nestled securely in anti-static foam and double-boxed, so there was zero risk of damage in transit. Slotting in my 12th-gen CPU and DDR4 sticks was a breeze, thanks to clearly labeled headers and well-spaced DIMM slots.BIOS booted first try, the onboard Wi-Fi 6E antennas snapped on without fuss, and all ports lined up perfectly in my case. If you want a no-hassle Z690 board that arrives safe and sound, this MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi DDR4 is a solid pick.

Not for CPU's with integrated graphics.
We've built a few system using this motherboard. The last system build used a CPU version with integrated video. We found that this motherboard will only boot into the bios unless you have a GPU card that uses a PCIe power plug. Both the integrated CPU, and GPU will video work but you can't build a system using the integrated video alone.

rock solid
Love this mobo with or without wireless. This was my 14th PC built on this board with no failures on any of them.

Good product if you have experience building PCs and troubleshooting their components.
These boards are a great deal if you have experience building PCs and troubleshooting their components. They should not be purchased by first-time enthusiasts. The first board I received arrived damaged with three bent CPU socket pins. However, the socket protective cover was securely fastened. This suggests someone, knowing the pins were damaged, replaced the socket cover and shipped it anyway. The board also had multiple bent fan connector pins and jumper pins. I was less concerned about these since they can be easily straightened. Ironically, my second board came with a broken security seal on the box, although everything about the board itself was perfect. It appears someone opened it before shipping to confirm that everything was intact. If they had done this verification with the first board, they would have saved me time and money. If you buy this board, make sure to update the BIOS. Mine came with an early version, which had known compatibility issues.I would have given them five stars if it were not for the fact that someone replaced the CPU socket cover knowing the pins were damaged. It took me only two seconds to see that three CPU socket pins were bent, clearly visible with the naked eye.
