works beautiful and fast
it does work... gotta follow instructions... set at 320 setting... first pre-heat material for about 10 seconds... then add dtf and cover with butcher paper... do20 seconds... and voila! allow to cool to warm... massage DTF to materail if necessary... slowly and carefully roll back peel the dtf away... works beautiful... but DO NOT OVERCOOK... anything over ~45 seconds will start to cook DTF and fail... good luck :)

Barely qualifies as a product
This thing is a FAIL on so many levels that I can't even begin to describe how bad it is.I bought the 12 x 15 press because I thought it would be fun to have a smaller press at the house that I could use to knock out things like mouse pads and coasters when I didn't feel like going to my studio and using my other machines. What a mistake.Uneven heat is just one of the issues. The biggest problem is that when you pull the arm down instead of the springs, adjusting to any height that might come from a coaster or a mouse pad, the whole heat plate just gets pushed back in the pylon, while at the same time, the platform holding the unattached rubber plate tilts down at the front, causing it to sit crooked and not work. It overheats the pieces in the back and under heats the pieces in the front because of the gap it creates..It's awful .The timer didn't work . The temperature begins to go down as soon as you start applying the heat plate. It ruined everything it touched .Lesson learned - I've been in this business for a long time and I should've known better but I thought for the light duty minimal requirements that I wanted this would probably be OK but it's dismal . It's beyond dismal - buyer beware - don't say I didn't warn you.

T shirt Up
You have to put it together. Once together it's great. Big enough for projects and small enough to fit in a small spot. Love it.

iffy.....it did work, but the controls never let me set options
it works, the controls to set the temp would not lock, even though i followed word for word from the instructions repeatedit will hold a temp once it decides it likes it, it did work, but the timer never would set, the temp would not set and hold and in general, for the price and that this brand has worked in the past, i trusted it.i will keep monkeying around with it, but i'm not holding out any hope

Cooks both 11 and 15 oz wonderfully and are long lasting.
This review is for the orange clamshell mug press. We have had great luck with these presses. They have lasted a really long time. We have had some that easily accommodate 15 oz mugs and some tgat you are a really tight fit. As long as I make sure that the artwork is at least 3/8” away from the ends of the paper (towards the handle) they cook perfectly every time.

Convenient, but inconsistent
I wanted to test a cheaper alternative prior to investing, this is very convenient in style and setup, and very durable, however, it is very inconsistent with heat distribution. I will change absolutely nothing and have the first set of mugs turn out great, while the second and third set is ghosted. Same placement, same heat settings, same designs. It does not make sense. I’m wasting more mugs than necessary and it breaks my soul to have to throw away a perfectly good mug due to the image being half messed up for no reason after it already survived delivery without breaking.I’ll also add that this doesn’t actually fully fit the 15oz mugs, but depending on your mug style (if it’s not an all-over design but just something small on both front and back) will depend on if you can or can not sublimate on a mug that big. I don’t regret my purchase I just have to work around the heating Inconsistencies until I decide on a better one. Would still suggest this to someone new to sublimation wanting to test out if you’re able to spare the money knowing you will eventually need to upgrade if you like it. It’s still great for here and there, but not for bulk designs all at once.
