Solid with smooth, quiet keyboard
This is a really great tablet stand and keyboard combo! It gives a very laptop like experience which is cool, but I REALLY love the keyboard! Its very quiet, but feels great to type on, it connects quickly and seems to have a really long battery life. My biggest issue is the touchpad, it gets in the way when I'm typing out something longer like a story or something and might move my cursor by accident. I wish there was a way to turn it off.Other than that, its heavy for sure but very sturdy! The case doesnt feel like floppy cardboard and you could even pick it up and carry it around, all folded out.So I highly recommend, its probably best for people who are bothered by the weight to use it like a stationary dock for your tablet rather than a travel case. I use it for both and could probably do some damage with the case if I was under attack, so thats always a plus.

Just like magic keyboard
So even with the price being a bit expensive, it definitely beats the Apple magic keyboards price and the Samsung's price. With it has a trackpad that is fully workable on the Samsung tablet. It works through Bluetooth and the keyboard lasts for a very long time. It is backlit and you can change the color schemes and it has a series of quick keys you can use.If you hit the FN esc button together it'll automatically put your Samsung tablet into Dex mode which makes it into a laptop in some places way.In Dex mode you got the full advantage of the keyboard and the trackpad. It acts exactly like a laptop you can move the size of the screen. If you are a podcaster. When you use Spotify for podcasts going to Dex mode because I know we'll go horizontally instead of vertically. On top of that it works great when you also have other Bluetooth devices such as I have a Skullcandy pair of headphones that I use.I haven't had to really charge the keyboard and I've been using it for well over a month or two. I haven't charged it. I keep my tablet on protected battery to keep the battery protected when it's charging. I prefer to go into tablet mode when I'm watching things such as Netflix or Hulu, but Dex mode lets you multitask in a tremendous amount of ways. You can change the size of the windows you can overlay them. You're able to do multiple tasks at once as well as type out a document, listen to music, put on a small video in the corner to watch you can even use it has a second mirror for your computer which gives it another monitor or you can even use the Samsung screen share on it and it even works with fire TVs so you can watch whatever you're looking at on your tablet to your television.Samsung has started to make one of the most amazing ecosystems I've ever seen, it rivals apples ecosystem. That said there are some things they can work on. But we're not here to talk about Samsung we're here to talk about the keyboard. So the keyboard works amazing with Samsung and I believe you can even use the Bluetooth keyboard on other devices. Now because I use it with a Samsung I can tell you I had to recently move to a Motorola phone. Trust me it's not my top of the line phone compared to my s22 ultra however with the Samsung tablet and the Motorola they work seamlessly together even with this keyboard. So not only does the keyboard have many features such as volume control volume mute directional buttons moving with two fingers to scroll up and down, to zoom in and out. Overall the tablet has more functionality than I even could imagine. That said the problems that do occur I was list below. After a very short amount of time the keyboard will go into standby mode, and after standby mode it turns off. This preserves the battery for a very long time the problem is that when you do this you have to wait for it to activate and connect to the Bluetooth. That can take a total of about five seconds. It folds just like a laptop very lightweight but it does have a heaviness to it. That said, if you're looking to just get a tablet and have it affordable without buying an expensive laptop or a macbook or anything like that. I'm pretty sure this tablet will work with a variety of different tablets but I can assure you 100% it works with the Galaxy tab S8 Plus. And for those people that are artists which is what I like to use it for, it's as simple as just pulling it off and snapping it back on because it's all magnetic. If you do choose to buy this it is definitely worth the price. I haven't had an issue with it the only major flaw is that it gets stained quite often so often way I have to clean it don't put a drink on top of it or don't put any kind of paper plates on top of it if you have it shut cuz it'll leave like a little bit of a stain and then you'll have to wipe it down. Aside from that it is probably the second or third most used thing that I own for electronics.

Well Built, Efficient, Heavy - No way to Use in Clipboard mode.
Have had this for about a week now.First impressions/Pros: Very sturdy, well built, keys are responsive and very little, to no, lag time. I was initially apprehensive about the Bluetooth connectivity, but it really does work well. The function keys and command keys are well laid out and my S10+ responds well to it. The tablet attaches via magnets and those seem to hold very well and securely. The keys are backlit - which I didn't think would be helpful, until I wanted to edit some stuff late at night in bed and all of a sudden I saw the usefulnessWeightAs other reviewers say - it is very heavy. You really do feel like you're carrying around a laptop. If you need something lightweight, don't buy this. However, the reason for this weight is partially why I'm able to use it on my actual lap (as I'm doing to write this review). It is comfortable to use on your lap because it is balanced very well - the weight of the keyboard offsets the weight of the tablet such that when its placed on your lap, it feels like you're working on a laptop.TrackpadInitially the trackpad was very annoying. That is, my thumb kept grazing it and the cursor would jump all over the place. This happened primarily when I had to write longer documents. However, I found that there is a function key combination that disables the trackpad (Fn-space). What I do now, is generally disabled the trackpad when I know I'll be writing longform (like this review) and use my finger on the screen for trackpad navigation. (I've attached a picture of the key combo)However, once that issue was solved, I've found the trackpad to be very responsive and accurate, with gestures working. One thing that I HAVE NOT been able to fix is to reverse the scrolling direction. The trackpad defaults to the Mac default scrolling and I'd really like a way to reverse it, but can't figure out how to do so. There doesn't seem to be a setting that I can find (I've looked under trackpad, accessibility, general etc...) to reverse the direction of the trackpad scrolling.Pen LocationIn addition to a cutout for the pen on the back of the case, there is also a great magneting place behind the keys to place the pen so it is easily accessible in when you're working and this also provides the added insurance that the pen doesn't get lost, as keeping it on the back of the tablet often causes the pen to become dislodged easily.ConsMy big criticism, along with my ambivalence as to the weight, however, is that there is no way to fold the case back to allow you to use the tablet in clipboard/portrait mode. Honestly, if this were possible I'd give this case a 5 star review. As it stands, I enjoy this case/keyboard for dex mode use and longer writing projects, but when I just want to casually use my tablet for scrolling, entertainment, gaming and other uses, I have to take it off and just use it without a case - something I'm always a little leery of doing as its always possible I'll get butter fingery. I would really love a way to unlatch the hinge in the back and fold the screen back (but, I'm no engineer and I'm sure there are mechanical reasons why my idea is not feasible)Also, this case really isn't that protective. The corners are all exposed and you really get the sense that its more of a productivity tool than a case. I wish there was a way to ensure the corners of the device were more protected.Overall, I really like this case, and while I was tempted to buy the Samsung case due to its weight - I'm sticking with the Dexnor because I can use it more easily on my lap, it has backlit keys and has a more secure way of keeping the pen. I'm debating about whether or not to buy a second case for times when I want to travel with and know I won't be using the keyboard.
