A very practical piano textbook for children
The textbook uses some basic exercises to simulate animals and people, has a storyline, and seeks to be expressive rather than starting with boring music theory. Ideal for children to start training.

A comprehensive and well written lesson book
I decided to change the books I use for piano teaching. This was recommended by a friend and hasn’t disappointed. Backing tracks are a great bonus and the kids like the lessons

excellent for beginners
My sons piano teacher recommended this book. It is an interesting way to learn the skills needed to play the piano. My son gets bored very easily when he comes across things he doesn't know, and this book has engaged him so that he is enjoying the process of learning the piano. I recommend this.

not as many theory games
I know this book teaches minims and crochets rather than half notes and quarter notes, but there are nearly twice as many pages of fun theory practice exercises in the separate Theory book. (The pieces to be played are the same in this book and in the separate Lesson book.)I like the Piano Adventures books very much, and I prefer the 4 separate books rather than the 2 combined books.

Fabulous book
I'm a Piano Teacher in the UK and started using Piano Adventures about 5 years ago on the recommendation of other teachers.. It is way better than the books I used to use which all seem to teach set hand positions on Middle C. By the end of this book my students are great at sight reading, enjoy the tunes and aren't scared to make up their own tunes. It's worth getting the companion Performance Book too.

Very easy to follow!
Bought for my son. Very easy to follow, even I can follow it and there’s more notes in a fiver than in me!
