Perfect for diy.
I had a fairly big project to do, new roof on a large double garage, and as I'm getting older I was looking for any way to make it easier.Never had a circular saw before but it was an obvious choice. Some of the brand names were quite expensive and I was reluctant to spend that much on a "one time use" tool.Looking around this saw stood out and the other reviews, together with the price sealed the deal.Roof done and the saw was faultless.Handled everything with ease and gave a great finish.Very safe to use and I don't have a single complaint.Very confident it will serve for years to come.

it works, but it runs out of charge quickly
the unit is ok for light use, battery (4Ah) runs out of charge quickly. when cutting 50mm thick timber you need to nurse the blade into cutting. nothing like mains saw.

INGCO 20V Cordless Circular Saw 185mm
The media could not be loaded. Well this is a cracking piece of kit for the money.Saw, blade, battery and charger for just over £100, £107 at the time of writing this review. The saw isn't particularly lacking in quality either, although it's early days yet so can't speak for longevity. It arrives pretty much set up and ready to use - or at least mine did, so I put it to the test straight away and I decided to jump right in with a pretty tough test. An old piece of hardwood (beech) door frame, 40mm thick and as you can see from the video, it made short work of it, cutting very cleanly. It lacks the speed of my Big Brand circular saw and takes longer to wind up to speed, but this just means one needs to take a little longer over the cut - for a DIYer it's not an issue.Note - The fence is pretty much useless - I used it for the test cut, but normally I'd either free-hand it, or if precision was required, use a long spirit level clamped on the LHS. My main use for this though will be cutting boards to size and a free-hand cut will normally suffice. The overall weight of the saw including the battery is 3.85kg which is about 0.5kg heavier than my other saw. Again not a huge issue for a DIYer.Overall I'm very impressed with this kit - the only thing it lacks is a carry case and it's more than up to DIY use. Highly recommended.

Great quality saw
The INGCO brand isn't one I was really fabiliar with before getting this saw but I have to say that the quality and finish of the tool and packaging is excellent. The performance is exactly what I need and it's saved me hours of using hand-tools where it's impossible to get power, building a shelter at a remote location.
