We moved to our home 2 years ago. We'd never been on septic before. Read about this stuff and started using it right away. We have 1250 gallon tank and use 64 oz every 6 months. I had a septic company come to check the sludge level and there might have been an inch in the test tube. The tank was pumped 4 years ago. We are a family of 4 (3 girls). The septic guy said, "whatever you're using, keep using it!" and said I should have it checked in a couple more years. I'll report back then! I have confidence it does whatnot claims to do - help break down sludge.

I have a large(ish) pea gravel dog area - 10' x 20' - and use a hose end sprayer with bleach to sanitize it. A couple of times per year, however, I sprinkle the septic tank treatment over the gravel and water it in. It actually does a better job than the bleach and typically lasts longer in keeping odors down. I like the Roebic granular over the typical granular packets because it is a bit bulkier and thus easier to spread over the area.

Like the ease of use and the size capacity it helps.

This product is about a third of the cost at my local big box hardware store. I've been using it for forty years.And it works well in my septic tank
